Oprah Winner With Cerebral Palsy To Premiere New Show
A man with cerebral palsy selected earlier this year to host his own travel show on Oprah Winfrey’s network will debut the new series in December.
Zach Anner, 26, was one of two winners of Winfrey’s “Your OWN Show” contest in February, landing a six-episode series on the OWN Network.
The show dubbed “Rollin’ with Zach” follows Anner as he tackles a new city during each of the half-hour episodes.

In travels though Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Portland, Ore., Anner doesn’t let his wheelchair get in the way. He tries everything from surfing to sailing, rock climbing and water skiing.
“It was just an incredible journey,” Anner told Disability Scoop about the show, which was shot over three days in each city earlier this year.
Anner was an early favorite when he submitted an online video entry for the Oprah contest in summer 2010, describing himself as having “the sexiest of the palsies.”
The video received over 9 million votes from the public and got the attention of singer John Mayer, who wrote and performed the theme song for Anner’s new show.
“Rollin’ with Zach” premieres Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. ET on OWN.
