Political insiders are calling state legislative efforts to mandate that health insurers cover autism treatments one of the hottest trends in a long time. Currently at least 14 state legislatures are considering such measures and the very personal approach advocates are taking to promote these bills is proving hard for insurers to fight, reports The Associated Press.
