A 13-year-old boy with autism wanted to go on a plane ride. So, he took his dad’s car and credit card and drove to a Florida airport. Then, the teen flew to California.

Kenton Weaver, who is diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, has a fascination with airplanes, his parents say. They believe that’s what led to his journey this week. Prior to his successful cross-country trip, Weaver attempted to go to the airport on two other occasions.

Weaver flew from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to San Jose, Calif. with a layover in Chicago. He does not have a passport or driver’s license, so he used a school report card as identification, reports ABC News. To read more click here.
